Engaging and Transforming Communities

Our Purpose: Restoring hope for youth in crisis by providing pathways to a thriving adulthood

Upon release, few of these youth have the desire or opportunity to go back to a regular school.  Less than 50% of detention centers provide life skills training and less than 20% offer vocational and technical education to residents.

Juvenile offenders are currently held in residential placement including detention and correction facilities across the United States.

Juveniles are more likely to reoffend than adults – recidivism rates are 70 to 80%.

We reduce recidivism in juvenile detention centers by providing character education, job readiness training, and employment opportunities.
